For this program, we recommend that you use Blogger*, a popular free online blog hosting service that is extremely easy to use.

Creating a blog using Blogger takes just three steps:
1.Create an account (view screenshot)
2.Name your blog (view screenshot)
3.Select your template. (view screenshot)

Tips:
Once you’ve created your blog here are two important things to know:

To add posts: The maintenance interface that you will use to add posts, edit or change the step-up your blog is accessed online at http://www.blogger.com/
Be sure to write down your login and password.
To view your blog: Your blog address is http://(xxxx).blogspot.com, (xxxx)=the unique identifier you entered in Step 2. Be sure to also write down your blog address.
For those wanting to give their blog a bit of a design overhaul - try this blog tutorial on Blog Templates using Photoshop. In it they talk about how to design header banners/logos, give photos borders, make button etc. They also give a lot of useful links to help in the process.

Part 2:
4.Now that you have created your blog, write a post about the experience.
5.Also please remember to email karen.sainsbury@ul.ie your blog name so that it can be listed on the main Learning 2.0 (the 23 things) blog.
For this program, we recommend that you use Blogger, a popular, free online blog hosting service that is easy to use. There are however other applications available such as Wordpress, you might like to try.

  6. This was great, much easier than I'd expected, and I'm making great use of it. I veered slightly from project guidelines, however, setting up a blog for research support rather than specifically for this project. That means that I haven't been using my blog to comment on the things as I went through them. Late in the day I realised that I could get over this by posting via Comments in the LNSS Project blog.
